The site is just a stone's throw from our basis of operations in Gréolières, giving us optimum logistics and a perfect knowledge of the terrain.
The Gours du Ray alternates between deep mineral sections and open green areas. Its main attraction: a succession of pools of crystal-clear turquoise water that give this canyon its unique character in the Alpes-Maritimes.
Often compared to a natural water park, the Gours du Ray attracts beginners and thrill-seekers alike. Each obstacle is optional: you choose your level of commitment at each stage, accompanied by our qualified instructors who will adapt the route to your group.

Le Gours du Ray is located near the village of Gréolières, in the Parc Naturel Régional des Préalpes d'Azur (Alpes-Maritimes). Allow 1h30 from Nice or Cannes, 45 min from Grasse. The exact meeting point on the D79 will be given to you when you book.
This is the ideal canyon for beginners! Accessible from the age of 8, it's perfect for families, groups of friends and beginners.
The jumps are all optional: you choose your level of excitement. The only requirement is that you know how to swim 25 metres.
The Gours du Ray features a 4m warm-up abseil, several natural slides, jumps from 1 to 10 metres (optional) and a large turquoise pool several metres deep.
The descent takes around 2 hours.

We supply wetsuits, socks, helmet and harness.
Bring your swimming costume, towel, closed shoes (which will get wet) and a change of clothes.
The canyon is open from spring to early autumn (April to October). Water levels vary according to rainfall. If conditions are unfavourable, we will postpone your trip free of charge.
