If this is your first flight, the prestige flight is still accessible! But we recommend that you are comfortable with the idea of thrills (spirals, candles). If you prefer a gentler flight to start with, opt for the ascending flight.

How does a prestige flight work?
The prestige flight is a totally atypical experience, the details of which are defined the day before depending on the weather conditions.
The day before :
- We analyse conditions at all our sites
- You will receive a confirmation SMS with the GPS point, time and planned route
- The route can be: crêtes du Cheiron → Coursegoules, or coastal flight to Monaco
D-Day:
- Meet at the school car park in Gréolières Village (or Gourdon/Roquebrune depending on the weather)
- Ascent by 4×4 to the take-off site (5 to 20 min)
- Detailed briefing: explanation of the planned route and figures
- Equipment: comfortable harness, helmet, on-board camera
- Take-off: a few quick steps and you're ready for adventure!
- Cross-country flying: following ridges, using thermals, gaining altitude
- Acrobatic figures: spirals, chandelles, wing-overs - whatever you like!
- Gentle landing at Grand-Pré or a site adapted to the route
- Debriefing: recovering your SD card with HD video

1. Do I need to have flown before to take part in a prestige flight?
This is not compulsory, but recommended. The prestige flight includes acrobatic figures and lasts longer.
If this is your first flight and you're comfortable with thrills, you can try it straight away. If not, start with a climb to see how you react in flight.
2. Is the video really included?
Yes! Unlike other packages where the video option costs €30, the prestige flight includes HD video.
Your instructor will be filming with an on-board camera throughout the flight. You leave with an SD card containing exceptional images of your adventure.
3. Can you refuse acrobatics?
Absolutely.
Even if the tricks are part of the prestige experience, your instructor will adapt to your wishes.
You can ask for a more contemplative flight, or start slowly and see how you feel. We never force anyone!
4. Why is the route set the day before?
The prestige flight is a real cross-country flight that depends entirely on the weather conditions.
Depending on the winds, thermals and visibility, we choose the best site and route to give you the best possible experience.
That's what makes each prestige flight unique.
5. What is the price difference with the upward flight (+110€)?
The difference is justified by: double the flight time (45 min-1h vs 20-30 min), HD video included (€30), a cross-country course instead of a local flight, and full aerobatics.

In winter, flights are shorter but the snow-covered landscapes are magical.
We always adjust the timetable according to the day's weather.
