The child flight is from 5 years, up to 8 years. Above 8 years, your child is ready for an adult flight — a progressive flight adapted to their level.
In the air, we are very attentive If your child feels good and wants to keep flying, we extend the flight. No stopwatch, no pressure. Every flight is tailor-made.

Paragliding and canyoning on the Côte d'Azur since 2013
Founded in 2013, Ailéments was born out of the passion of Pierre-Yves Fenet (DEJEPS in paragliding and canyoning) and PY Alloix (BEES in paragliding) for paragliding and white-water sports. Our mission: to offer you unique experiences in the most beautiful locations of the Alpes-Maritimes, from the Monaco-Cannes panorama seen from the sky to the turquoise waters of the Loup Valley. Ailéments is the only school in the 06 region to combine paragliding and canyoning with the same team.

What sensations or experiences can one expect during a flight?
Between the Mediterranean Sea and the peaks of the Alps, you’ll fly over one of Europe’s most beautiful panoramas: from Monaco to Cannes, and on clear days as far as Corsica. Depending on your package, you can choose a leisurely flight (taking in the scenery) or a more thrilling one (spirals, steep turns, taking the controls). The adrenaline of take-off, the silence in flight, the absolute freedom… an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
What is the difference between paragliding and paramotoring?
Paragliding is a form of free flight that makes use of natural updrafts. Lightweight (12–15 kg) and silent, it requires a take-off from a hill or similar terrain such as Gréolières or the Col de Vence. This is the authentic experience of paragliding flight In Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes. The paramotor adds a back-mounted engine (25-30 kg) allowing take-off from flat ground, without being dependent on meteorological conditions. It is noisier and more autonomous. For a paragliding introductory flight on the French Riviera, free flight remains the ideal choice: pure sensations between the Préalps and the Mediterranean.
What are the possible packages (combos, family outings)?
The duration of your flight depends on the package chosen. The child's flight lasts between 10 and 15 minutes, perfect for a first introduction. The thermal flight, our best-seller, offers you 20 to 30 minutes in the air thanks to the thermals that your pilot exploits to prolong the enjoyment. The prestige flight, meanwhile, lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour: you fly along the ridges as far as the village of Coursegoules with breathtaking views. Note that weather conditions and the quality of the thermals can make these durations vary; on a good day, we don't watch the clock! Our paragliding and canyoning combo package allows you to experience both adventures in a single day. Canyoning takes place in the Gorges du Loup, an exceptional Cote d'Azur site.
Is paragliding dangerous?
Tandem paragliding is a supervised and safe activity when undertaken with professionals. At Ailéments, all our instructors are state-certified and have a combined 19 years’ experience. We only fly when weather conditions are ideal and use certified equipment that is serviced every season. Your safety is our top priority.
Can you paraglide all year round?
Yes! The Mediterranean climate of the Côte d'Azur offers flight conditions exceptional all year round. In winter, we even offer paragliding on skis from the slopes at Gréolières-les-Neiges. Every season has its own charm: powerful thermals in summer, crystal-clear air in autumn, and snow in winter.
Can you film your paragliding flight?
Yes! We offer the video option for €30 (SD card included) to capture your flight. Your instructor will film the highlights: takeoff, the panorama over the Mediterranean, and landing. For the €250 Prestige flight, HD video is included. You can also bring your own GoPro attached to a pole.
