Paragliding is a form of free flight that makes use of natural updrafts. Lightweight (12–15 kg) and silent, it requires a take-off from a hill or similar terrain such as Gréolières or the Col de Vence. This is the authentic paragliding experience in Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes. The paramotor adds a back-mounted engine (25-30 kg) allowing take-off from flat ground, without relying on atmospheric conditions. Louder and more autonomous. For a first paragliding experience On the French Riviera, free flying remains the ideal choice: pure sensations between the Prealps and the Mediterranean.

The duration of your flight depends on the package chosen. The children's flight lasts between 10 and 15 minutes, perfect for a first experience. The soaring flight, our best-seller, offers you 20 to 30 minutes in the air thanks to the thermals that your pilot uses to prolong the pleasure. The prestige flight, on the other hand, lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour: you will fly along the ridges to the village of Coursegoules with a breathtaking view. Please note that weather conditions and the quality of updrafts can alter these durations, but on a good day, we don't watch the clock! Our paragliding & canyoning combo package allows you to experience both adventures in one day. The canyoning takes place in the Gorges du Loup, an exceptional site on the French Riviera.

Tandem paragliding is a supervised and safe activity when undertaken with professionals. At Ailéments, all our instructors are state-certified and have a combined 19 years’ experience. We only fly when weather conditions are ideal and use certified equipment that is serviced every season. Your safety is our top priority.

Yes! The Mediterranean climate of the French Riviera offers exceptional flying conditions all year round. In winter, we even offer ski-to-fly paragliding from the slopes of Gréolières-les-Neiges. Every season has its own charm: powerful thermals in summer, crystal-clear air in autumn, and snow in winter.

Yes! We offer the video option for €30 (SD card included) to capture your flight. Your instructor will film the highlights: takeoff, the panorama over the Mediterranean, and landing. For the €250 Prestige flight, HD video is included. You can also bring your own GoPro attached to a pole.
