From Bandol, allow 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours of driving, depending on the chosen location, via the motorway and then the gorges. The canyon of Jabroni and Saint-Auban offer lovely half-day discovery trips, while the Val d'Angouire proposes a great sporting day out in the Verdon. The canyon is confirmed the day before by text message according to the flow rate, and the journey, through the Var hinterland, is already part of the change of scenery.

No specific physical preparation is required: if you can swim 25 metres and are comfortable with your head under water, you’re good to go. Bring a swimming costume, closed-laced trainers that can get wet, a towel and a change of dry clothes; we’ll take care of all the technical equipment. On the day, listen to the briefing, trust the guide and let yourself be carried along by the rhythm of the descent — that’s where it all happens.

Yes, knowing how to swim is mandatory: count approximately 25 metres of swimming and a real ease in putting your head underwater. Several basins are crossed by swimming. Without this aquatic ease, the activity is not for you.
With a State-qualified guide, Canyoning is a safe activity. The water flow and weather are checked before each departure, the anchors are inspected, and the equipment is regularly checked. Accidents mainly occur during unguided outings.
The technical equipment is provided 5mm neoprene suit, helmet, harness, lanyard, descender, canyoning bag. For your part: swimsuit under the suit, old closed-toe trainers (which will get wet), towel and dry clothes for the return.
From Closed sports shoes (running or light hiking) that you don't mind getting wet. No sandals or flip-flops: the rock is sometimes slippery, a grippy sole is essential. They will remain submerged for the entire descent.
