The canyon winds its way down the Estéron river between two imposing 200-metre limestone cliffs. A spectacular, south-facing setting where the local flora and fauna flourish in complete tranquillity.

In the Parc Naturel Régional des Préalpes d'Azur, the canyon runs down the Estéron river near the village of Saint-Auban in the Alpes-Maritimes. 30 minutes from Castellane and close to the Gorges du Verdon. Approximately 1h15 from Nice.
Saint-Auban offers a complete aquatic course with a 40-metre zip line (arriving in the water!), jumps of up to 7 metres, slides and abseils. All set in a spectacular clue between two 200m cliffs.
No! a 5-minute shuttle bus takes you directly to the canyon entrance. Quick return to the car park after the descent. Perfect if you don't like long hikes.
Saint-Auban is a sporty canyon recommended for motivated people in good physical condition. For a first experience or for beginners to canyoning in Saint-Auban, we recommend the Gours du Ray or the Gorges du Loup (introductory canyoning course).
