Gréolières is our historic site, where it all began for Ailéments. Perched at an altitude of 800 metres in the Pré-Alps of Azur Regional Nature Park, this authentic village is the ideal starting point to discover the paragliding.
Take-off is from the Cheiron ridges, at 1,800 metres above sea level. This free-flight site is renowned for its regular thermal lift and its fully south-facing orientation. Coming from Cannes or Grasse, you drive through the Gorges du Loup — the journey is already part of the adventure.
The landing field is in the Loup valley, right next to our school. In winter, the Gréolières 1400 resort even lets you combine skiing and paragliding. Our main flying sites are less than an hour from the coast. Coming from another town in the PACA region? See all our flying locations.
Between take-off on the Cheiron ridges and landing in the Loup valley, you have up to 1,000 metres of vertical drop: flights of 10 to 60 minutes depending on the package you choose, gentle for a first tandem flight or more playful for thrill-seekers. Flyable more than 250 days a year, Gréolières is a site as reassuring for beginners as it is rewarding for those who want to progress.
