Take-offs

Shuttle departures served

Gréolières has several take-off points that can be used depending on wind direction and weather conditions. The shuttle serves three official take-off points: the 300, the 700 and Jérusalem; the 600 on an ad hoc basis. The timetable distinguishes between two groups: the 300 on one side, and the Crêtes on the other.

Low takeoff

The 300

Low take-off, quickest access from landing. Ideal for short flights, first flights of the day, or when conditions do not yet allow for higher ascent. Shortest route, reduced fare accordingly.

High-altitude take-offs

The Ridges: Jerusalem, the 700 and the 600

The name «Crêtes» covers the three high-altitude take-off points: Jérusalem (1,000 m), the 700 and the 600. The shuttle takes around 25 minutes to reach these sites from the landing area, via a dedicated route that passes through the Gréolières 1400 station. A single fare applies to all three take-off points: a long flight, panoramic views of the Mercantour and the Mediterranean, and maximum altitude gain.

The choice of takeoff is made the same morning, depending on the weather, wind, and level.

Important point

The routes used by the shuttle are restricted access. Any circulation by 4x4 or personal vehicle on these routes is prohibited. The shuttle is the only authorised solution for reaching the take-offs via these routes.
