We operate on sites in the 06, selected for their safety, their flight conditions and their beauty: Gréolières for training and long flights, Gourdon above the Gorges du Loup, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin for introductory flights with sea views.
All are accessible from Nice (50 mins), Cannes (50 min) and Grasse (35 mins). And to complete: the canyoning in the Alpes-Maritimes.
From one end of the department to the other, the Alpes-Maritimes (06) offers a wonderful variety: you can fly in the morning facing the sea at Roquebrune, in the afternoon in the mountains at Gréolières, and learn the basics of piloting the next day at Gourdon. Up to 1,000 m of vertical drop on the main site, flights of 10 to 60 minutes, and one thing our three main sites have in common — they are less than an hour from the coast, with state-qualified instructors who know every site by heart.

This variety is the true signature of the 06: we fly at several complementary sites, chosen each day according to the weather and the season. The result: we fly more than 250 days a year (the school is closed from January to mid-February), from a contemplative flight above the ridges to a sea-view tandem flight. A flexibility that benefits the beginner looking for a first thrill just as much as the pilot who wants to progress from one site to the next.
All our take-offs are within easy reach of the main towns of the French Riviera — Nice, Cannes, Grasse, but also Antibes, Vence or Menton, all less than an hour from a site. And the day is easily extended with a swim, a visit to a hilltop village or a canyon descent in the hinterland — a way to discover the department differently, from the sky. The village of Caussols, on its plateau, is 30 minutes from Gréolières.

As for the options, the range is the same on all three sites, to suit what you want. The Child flight (morning, from age 5) for a gentle first time; the Ascending flight, our best-seller, to go and find the thermals; the Instructional flight (45 min to 1 hr, video included) for those who want to understand piloting; Ski paragliding in winter from Gréolières 1400; and the Prestige flight, a long flight with HD and 4K video included. All include certified equipment (Supair Sora 2, Sora Evo and Aerotech A42 wings), supervision by a state-qualified instructor and insurance.

Once in the air, the flight is yours: take the controls, ask for some acrobatics or just let yourself be carried along — you decide. The instructor wraps up with a debriefing and sends you the video if you chose that option. No physical fitness required — a few running steps are enough at take-off — and every tandem flight is tailored to your profile, from a 5-year-old child to a pilot in training.
We fly in the 06 almost all year round, and that is precisely the department's strength: when one site is not in condition, another takes over. Spring and autumn bring the most regular thermals, summer is flown early in the morning, and winter has the sea-view flight at Roquebrune in store. Your time slot is confirmed the day before by text, and rescheduling is free if the weather does not cooperate. And as everywhere at Ailéments, you only pay for your tandem flight once you have landed, with no deposit or commitment: all you have to do is choose your date and let the weather and our instructors do the rest.
