From Nice, allow about 45 minutes by the Wolf's route. From Grasse, access is quicker: around 20 minutes. Since Cannes, allow 40 minutes, passing through Grasse. The route is well signposted and the road offers lovely views of the valley.
Parking is a bit of a problem in Gourdon. The car park below the village has limited spaces and, in high season (July–August), it can fill up by late morning. Our advice: Arrive before 10 am You prefer visits during the low season and outside of weekends.

From March to May and from September to November, temperatures are mild, visitor numbers are moderate, and conditions are ideal for outdoor activities. This is the period we recommend for combining a visit to the village with outdoor activities such as paragliding or canyoning.
In July and August, the scenery is magnificent and the long days allow for a good mix of activities. On the other hand, the village is very busy and parking becomes a challenge. It is preferable to mornings For your visit and to book your outdoor activity in advance.
From November to March, Gourdon returns to its peaceful self. Paragliding is still possible, weather permitting, but canyoning is closed. Just 30 minutes away, the resort of Gréolières 1400 allows you to combine skiing with paragliding.
