From Cap d'Antibes to the gorges: your outing step by step
The appointment - GPS coordinates of the car park sent by text message the day before. From Antibes, allow 35 to 45 minutes on the road to Grasse and the Gorges du Loup. A journey well worth the diversions.
The equipment - On site, your guide will provide you with all your equipment: 5 mm neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, lanyard and descender. Everything is adjusted to your body size, so all you need to bring is your swimming costume and your energy.
Topo - Your qualified guide will show you the basics: jumping, abseiling, communicating in the canyon. It's concrete, visual and builds confidence.
The approach - It's a 10-30 minute walk to the entrance of the canyon. The scenery changes with every step as the Pre-Alps close in around you.
The descent - First natural slide, first laugh. Your guide leads the way, and you follow at your own pace. Each jump is a choice, never an obligation. You have fun, you push yourself, you breathe.
The return - Out of the canyon, a short climb back up, back to the cars. The smiles say it all. If you've opted for the video option, pick up your footage to prolong the memory.

You can expect to pay €55 per person for a half-day discovery trip (2 hours' descent, equipment included). The sporting day package costs €80 for 4 hours in more challenging canyons. The paragliding + canyoning combo costs €190 for a full day in the air and water.
Children aged 8 and over can take part in our beginners' courses, such as the Gours du Ray. They must be able to swim and follow the instructions. Day trips are open to children aged 12 and over. Family canyoning is ideal for creating memories with your children.
Yes, it's essential. You need to be able to swim 25 metres and put your head under water without apprehension. Some pools require you to swim a few metres in the water. If you are not comfortable in water, this activity is not suitable.
Supervised by a qualified guide, the risks are kept under control. We check the weather conditions and the flow before each outing. Our equipment is inspected regularly. Canyoning safety is our absolute priority.
We supply: 5 mm neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, lanyard, descender, canyoning bag.
You'll need to bring: a swimming costume (under your wetsuit), closed-toe shoes such as used trainers (they'll get soaked), a towel and dry clothes. Leave your valuables in the vehicle.
Closed-toe trainers that you are happy to get wet in. No sandals, flip-flops or new shoes. Ideal: old running shoes or aquashoes with thick soles for good grip on rocks.
The season runs from May to September. July and August offer ideal conditions: warmer water (15-18°C), moderate flow, long days. In May-June and September, neoprene wetsuits compensate for the cooler temperatures (12-15°C).
For a half-day: allow 3h30 in total (meeting point, equipment, 15-minute walk, 2-hour descent, return). For a full day: 5-6 hours (30-45 minute walk, 4 hour descent, return). Pack a snack for the full-day option.
The Gorges du Loup are 45 minutes from Antibes on the road to Grasse. Meet at the Pont du Loup or Bar-sur-Loup depending on the route. Exact GPS location sent by SMS the day before.
