Reunion in the car park - Your guide will be waiting for you at the starting point of the canyon (GPS coordinates sent by text message the day before). The journey from Menton varies from 30 minutes to 1 hour 05 minutes depending on the site chosen.
Cabinetry - 5 mm neoprene wetsuit slipped over your swimming costume, then helmet, harness, lanyard and descender. All the technical equipment is supplied, checked and adjusted to your body shape.
Clear instructions - Your qualified guide will show you the essential moves: how to jump, how to use the descender, how to communicate in the canyon. Simple, practical and reassuring.

You'll pay €55 per person for a half-day discovery tour (2-3 hours, including equipment). The Maglia sports day package costs €80 for a 4-5 hour descent. A paragliding + canyoning combo costs €190.
From 8 years old on the Audin canyon, ideal for families. The Guiou and Maglia canyons are accessible from ages 12-14, depending on the route. Children must be able to swim and follow the guide's instructions.
Yes, it's essential. You need to be able to swim 25 to 50 metres, depending on the canyon, and put your head under water. Some canyons require you to swim several metres. Without this aquatic ability, the activity is not suitable.
Supervised by a state-qualified guide, the risks are under control. We systematically check the water flow and the weather before each outing. Our equipment is checked regularly. Accidents mainly occur on unsupervised outings.
We supply: 5 mm neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness, lanyard, descender, canyoning bag.
Bring: swimming costume, lace-up sports shoes (which will be wet), towel, water and energy bars for the day, dry clothes for the return journey.
Closed-toe sports shoes such as running shoes or light hiking boots. No sandals or flip-flops. They will be submerged for the duration of the descent. Bring a pair that you are happy to get wet in.
The ideal season is from June to October. July and August offer the best conditions: water around 18-20°C in some canyons, moderate flow. At the beginning and end of the season, neoprene wetsuits compensate for the cooler temperatures.
For a half-day trip: allow 3-4 hours in total (journey, equipment, approach walk, 2-3 hour descent, return). For the Maglia: 6 hours minimum (40-minute walk, 4-5-hour descent, return).

Visit Barbaira canyon Rocchetta Nervina (55 mins) is another option, renowned for its beautiful scenery.
