The takeoff of the Mont Gros dominates the Mediterranean and offers a bird's-eye view of Monaco. It is the the only site in the Alpes-Maritimes allowing extensive sea views with a landing on the Blue Gulf beach.

This dual location – by the sea in winter, in the mountains the rest of the year – is our real strength: whereas a single-site operation is often grounded, we almost always find a window in which to fly. The right site is chosen based on the weather and confirmed the day before by text message, and as is the case everywhere at Ailéments, rescheduling is free and payment is made on the spot once the flight has taken place.
Many Monegasques and visitors to the Principality join us for this unique flight, often combined with a day on the Rock, a visit to the Oceanographic Museum or a stroll in Monte Carlo. The neighbours are not to be outdone: people also come to steal from Menton, Roquebrune or Nice, all just a few minutes’ walk from Mont Gros.

From take-off over the sea, it's a huge thrill: the Rock, Port Hercules and its yachts, the Monte Carlo Casino parade beneath your feet, with the Italian coast as a backdrop. All our packages are available at both sites, depending on the season. At Mont Gros, in winter, the Ascending flight (our best-seller) runs along the coast facing the Principality, wing-overs and 360°s optional; the Child flight, in the mornings, gives the youngest children a chance to see the sea from the sky. At Gréolières, for the rest of the year, the Educational flight introduction to piloting (reading thermals, handling, debriefing) and Paragliding on skis skis on feet in winter. Everywhere, the Prestige flight stretch the flight until one hour, HD video included, the Walk & Fly add a mountain-side approach hike, and the Paragliding combo + canyoning fills the day with sensations.

During the flight, you can take control for a few moments, ask for wing-overs or a 360°, or simply savour the panorama of the Principality. The instructor concludes with a debrief and gives you the video if you chose it. No preparation is necessary — a few strides facing the sea are all that's needed — and the gentle landing on the sand of the Golfe Bleu remains one of the most beautiful finales.
The sea-view season is short but magical: from December to early March, when Golfe Bleu beach empties of sunbathers and the winter sun casts a magical glow over the Riviera. For the rest of the year, you’ll find the more consistent Gréolières conditions in the mountains. In both cases, the flight is confirmed the day before depending on the weather, and rescheduling is free of charge: you only pay for your first flight once you’ve landed, never in advance.
