Where are the Cascades de Courmes?
The Bès-Courmes waterfalls are located in the gorges of the Vallée du Loup, opposite the hilltop village of Gourdon. It takes around 1 hour from Nice or Cannes.
Is the 65m abseil compulsory?
on! You can choose between a 30m abseil or a 65m abseil, depending on your level of comfort with heights. Both options offer exceptional sensations.
Why is this canyon a day trip?
The Cascades de Courmes combine a technical vertical section and a fun aquatic section. The full route takes approximately 5-6 hours, including a picnic break.
How much does it cost?
The exit is at 80€ per person (full day). Full equipment included. Bring your own picnic, which must be packed in waterproof containers.
Do you need any abseiling experience?
No, our instructors will train you in abseiling techniques right from the start of the route. The first abseils are progressive before attacking the big waterfall.
