The Cramassouri valley: a jewel case of beauty in the Tinée
The setting : The Vallon de Cramassouri, also known as the Vallon des Aviateurs, is considered to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the Alpes-Maritimes. Its water-polished rocks, generous pools and narrow passages create an enchanting setting. An unspoilt, sunny spot, ideal for discovering canyoning.

Good to know: The canyon was modified by storm Alex in 2020, but the floods of 2024 recreated the course. It is now back to its original playful self, with some great slides.
The route: fun and progressive
Cramassouri is an ideal course for beginners. The obstacles follow on from each other progressively, allowing you to gain confidence as you descend.

How does the outing work?
Meeting point Meeting point given when booking. Your guide will welcome you and brief you on the tour.
Equipment We provide everything you need: neoprene wetsuit, helmet, harness and abseiling gear.
Approach walk 20 minutes to the start, overlooking the river in a green setting.
The descent Approximately 2 hours in the canyon: slides, small jumps, steep sections and a final 10m abseil. Your instructor will accompany you down each obstacle.
A 5-minute walk back to the cars after the confluence with the Tinée.
