Local flying sites such as Signes (Envol de Provence) and Cuges-les-Pins offer short flights with a limited difference in altitude. Gréolières offers 700 metres of ascent, powerful thermals for flights of 20 to 60 minutes, and incomparable panoramic views. For a real first paragliding experience, the extra distance is well worth the diversions, allowing you to discover the small villages of the Pre-Alps d'Azur as well as the Gorges du Loup for swimming and walking.
You'll fly over the Gorges du Loup (700 m below), the hilltop villages of the Préalpes d'Azur and the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon. The panorama stretches from the Mercantour to the Côte d'Azur coastline. It's a different spectacle from the vineyards of Bandol, but the flights take between 20 and 60 minutes - impossible from local sites like Signes with its limited altitude difference.
It takes around 1 hour 40 minutes to reach Gréolières from Bandol. The route takes in the A8 motorway towards Nice, then Grasse and the panoramic roads of the Pre-Alps. A Provencal stroll that's all part of the experience. Free parking at the take-off site.
Introduction to tandem paragliding is open to everyone from the age of 4. Our state-certified instructors adapt the flight to your level and your desires. You don't need to be in any particular physical condition or have any previous experience - you're the passenger, the pilot manages everything. It's the perfect free-flight experience for a first-timer.
The climate in the PACA region is ideal for hang-gliding all year round. Spring (April-June) offers steady thermals perfect for long flights. Summer favours morning sessions when the Provençal atmosphere is calm. Autumn is ideal for getting a good view of the countryside.
Our gift card is valid for one year, giving the recipient time to choose their ideal date. It can be used for all our packages, from Child flights to Prestige flights. It's the perfect way to offer a first flight and the thrill of freedom to a friend or family member from Bandol or a visitor to the region.
The limit is 90 kg, determined by the certification of our equipment. Beyond this limit, the glider cannot guarantee optimal flight in terms of safety. If you are close to this limit, contact us to discuss it.
At an altitude of 1400 m, it is cooler than in Bandol. Bring closed shoes (trainers or hiking boots), long trousers and a windproof jacket. We provide an approved helmet and a comfortable harness.
Safety is our priority. If the weather conditions do not allow you to fly, your first flight will be postponed free of charge to the date of your choice. You pay nothing until the flight takes place. You will receive a confirmation or postponement text message the day before.
The GoPro video option is available for €30 (included in the Prestige Flight). Your instructor films the highlights: take-off facing the Pre-Alps, flying over the crests with a panoramic view of the Côte d'Azur, and landing. Memories transferred directly to your phone.
