Ailéments: your paragliding school since 2005

Founded over 10 years ago, Ailéments was born out of a passion for free flight. What began as an adventure between friends has become a paragliding school recognised in the PACA region and the Alpes-Maritimes, with hundreds of pilots trained and thousands more flying with us. baptisms realised.

Based in Gréolières in the Alpes-Maritimes, our team of qualified instructors operates throughout the PACA region. We fly at the best free-flight sites in the Southern Alps: Gréolières (our historic site), Gourdon, and other spots depending on the weather conditions.

For a first flight (tandem flight) :

  4. Take-off and flight (you don't have to manage anything, just enjoy!)

For baptisms: from 4 years old (formula Child flight)
For training courses: from age 12
No maximum age if physical condition permits
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

For two-seater flights (first flights): 90 kg maximum
For training courses: there is no strict limit, the equipment will be adapted to your size.

  • For baptisms: no physical condition required
  • For courses: ability to run a few metres on take-off
  • No previous sporting experience necessary
  • Contraindications: serious heart problems, severe dizziness (consult us).
  • Discovery course: 1 day (introductory course)
  • Introductory course: 5 days (solid foundations)
  • Advanced course: 5 days (autonomous)
  • Full pilot licence training: 10-15 days over several months

Courses can be staggered according to your availability

Yes, that's the aim of our training courses:

  • After the Introductory Course: autonomous flights on the school slope
  • After the Advanced Course: supervised flights at large sites
  • Full training: pilot's licence and total autonomy

We provide post-training support for your first solo outings.

School training budget :

  • Discovery course: €200
  • Introductory course: €700
  • Advanced course: €750 Equipment budget (after training) :
  • Complete beginner pack: €2,500-3,500 (glider, harness, rescue)
  • Second-hand pack: €1,500-2,000

We can advise you on the purchase of your first piece of equipment, and generally lease it for the first year of training.
