Saint-Raphaël, a seaside resort renowned for its creeks and the Corniche d'Or, is the ideal starting point for discovering paragliding in the PACA region. From the town, it takes just 1 hour 20 minutes to reach the site of Gréolières in the Préalpes d'Azur, one of the best spots for hang-gliding between the mountains and the sea.
Gréolières is our main site, on the crests of the Cheiron. This authentic village offers exceptional flying conditions, with panoramic views over the entire Côte d'Azur, from the Esterel Massif to the Mercantour Alps. Our school and workshop are based in the village, on the edge of the landing.

As a closer alternative, the Embarnier site above Gourdon offers a gentle take-off from one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, with a direct view of the Gorges du Loup and the coastline. Varois.
💡 How is the site chosen? The day before your flight, our instructors analyse the weather conditions (thermals, wind, visibility) and confirm the meeting point by text message. The paraglider takes off facing the panorama of the Côte d'Azur. The route from Fréjus takes you through magnificent scenery along the Grasse road.

Paragliding baptisms from Saint-Raphaël take place at our Gréolières site in the Préalpes d'Azur, accessible in around 1h20 by road from Grasse. The route takes you through the magnificent landscapes of Provence, with vineyards, hilltop villages and unspoilt countryside. You will receive the exact GPS coordinates by text message the day before.
You'll fly over the Gorges du Loup (700 m below), the hilltop villages of the Préalpes d'Azur and the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon. The panorama stretches from the Mercantour to the Côte d'Azur coastline. A different spectacle from l'Estérel, but flights of 20 to 60 minutes in optimal aerological conditions.
The PACA region enjoys a Mediterranean climate that is ideal for hang-gliding, with over 300 days of sunshine a year. Spring (April-June) offers stable conditions with regular thermals. Summer favours early morning flights to take advantage of the calm in the air. Autumn is perfect for the visibility and colours of the Provençal landscapes.
It takes around 1 hour 20 minutes to reach Gréolières from Saint-Raphaël. The route passes through Fréjus and then Grasse, the perfume capital, before crossing the Gorges du Loup. An aerial tour of the Var that starts at the roadside. Free parking at the take-off site.
First-time paragliding is an activity open to everyone from the age of 4. We offer a Child's Flight package at €100, with flights scheduled in the morning when the air is calm. Children love discovering paragliding from the air, and our instructors adapt their approach to reassure them.
The limit is 90 kg, determined by the certification of our tandem equipment. Beyond this limit, the glider cannot guarantee optimal flight safety. If you are close to this limit, contact us to discuss it.
Even in summer in the Var, it gets cooler at 1400 m altitude. Bring closed shoes (trainers or hiking boots), long trousers and a windproof jacket. We provide an approved helmet and a comfortable harness.
Safety is our priority. If flight conditions do not allow you to fly safely, your flight will be postponed free of charge to a date of your choice. You pay nothing until the flight takes place. The day before, you will receive an SMS confirming or postponing your flight.
