Vence, famous for its Matisse chapel and its medieval heritage, is ideally situated at the foot of the Col de Vence. This privileged position offers rapid access to the paragliding site of Gréolières, Just a 35-minute drive through the breathtaking scenery of the Préalpes d'Azur.
Gréolières, on the crests of the Cheiron, is our main site for first-time paragliding flights. Accessible via the Col de Vence from the Cité des Arts, this 1,800-metre-high take-off offers exceptional weather conditions and a panoramic view of the entire Côte d'Azur.

From Vence, the road to Gréolières passes over the Col de Vence at an altitude of 970 metres. This picturesque route is part of the adventure, with paragliders circling over the ridges as soon as you arrive. Conditions are favourable all year round.
As a nearby alternative, the Embarnier site above Gourdon offers a take-off from one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, with a direct view of the Gorges du Loup and the coastline. A site used when conditions do not permit Gréolières.
💡 Why leave Vence? The City of the Arts is halfway between the coast and take-off. You can combine your flight with a visit to the Matisse chapel or a stroll through the old town. You'll leave with unforgettable memories of a day of culture and free flight.

From the Col de Vence to the crests of the Cheiron :
The journey - 35 minutes from Vence via the Col, through the twists and turns of the Pre-Alps. You can already see the sails billowing over the ridges as you arrive.
Welcome on take-off - Your instructor will be waiting for you at Gréolières. Informal discussions, questions, apprehension: we take our time before getting fitted.
Installation - Comfortable harness, approved helmet, checked harness. Your instructor shows you exactly what you're going to do: three easy steps, nothing complicated.
Take-off - Facing the panorama, a few decisive steps towards the void. The sail carries you, the ground moves away and silence settles in. Your instructor manages everything.
In the air - The Côte d'Azur stretches as far as the eye can see. The Baou de Saint-Jeannet, the Baie des Anges, the Caussols plateau... and that feeling of total freedom. Feel like flying? Your instructor will put you in control. Looking for thrills? Acrobatics are possible.
Back to Gréolières - Soft landing on the village meadow, at the foot of our school. Debriefing with your pilot and recovery of your images if you have chosen the video option.

The Gréolières site is 35 minutes from Vence via the Col de Vence. You will cross the Saint-Barnabé plateau before reaching the southern slopes of the Cheiron, where the take-off takes place. Parking is free on site, and you'll receive the exact GPS coordinates by text message the day before your flight.
From Gréolières, you can see Vence in the distance, nestling at the foot of the Baou de Saint-Jeannet. The view stretches across the entire Var plain, from Nice to Antibes. On a clear day, the panorama takes in the whole of the Côte d'Azur as far as the Estérel.
The Gréolières site enjoys an exceptional microclimate, with over 300 days of sunshine a year. In winter and spring, conditions are ideal, with regular lift and exceptional visibility. Summer is also ideal for early morning or late afternoon flights. Autumn offers incomparable golden light over the landscapes of the Pre-Alps.
The journey to Gréolières is part of the experience. From Vence, allow around 35 minutes via the Col de Vence (970 m) and then the Route de Coursegoules. This picturesque route takes you through the Préalpes d'Azur and prepares you for your immersion in the world of hang-gliding. Free parking at take-off.
We welcome children from the age of 4 with our Child Flight package at €100. These flights are scheduled in the morning between 8am and 10am, when the air is calm and conditions perfectly stable. Our instructors adapt their approach to reassure the youngest and give them a memorable first flying experience. There's no maximum age, as long as you're in good physical condition to do a few running steps on take-off.
The limit is 90 kg, determined by the certification of our tandem equipment. Above this weight, the glider cannot guarantee optimal flight in terms of performance and safety. If you are close to this limit, don't hesitate to contact us to discuss it, and we'll find a solution together.

Safety is our absolute priority: if conditions do not allow you to fly safely, your flight will be postponed free of charge to the date of your choice. You pay nothing until the flight takes place. The day before, you will receive a confirmation or postponement text message. Conditions that prevent the flight from taking place include strong winds, thunderstorms or rain.

The GoPro video option is available for €30 (included in the Prestige Flight). Your instructor films the highlights of your adventure: the take-off with the panorama in front of you, the flights over the plateau and the coast, and the soft landing. The HD file is transferred directly to your phone after the flight.
