The choice of site depends on the weather, your level and your objectives for the day. Our perfect knowledge of the Alpes-Maritimes means we can take you to the best possible site.
💡 How is the site chosen? The day before your flight, our instructors analyse the weather conditions (thermals, wind, visibility) and confirm the meeting place by text message. The route from Sainte-Maxime takes you through magnificent Mediterranean scenery along the roads of the Provencal hinterland.

Our history
Founded in 2010 in Gréolières, Ailéments was born out of a passion for free flight in the Alpes-Maritimes. What began as an adventure between pilot friends has become a recognised paragliding school, with FFVL accreditation, hundreds of pilots trained and thousands of first flights completed.

Based in Gréolières in the heart of the Alpes-Maritimes, our paragliding school welcomes you all year round to the best free-flight sites in the Pre-Alps: Gréolières (our HQ), Gourdon, Roquebrune Cap Martin. The sites of Vence, Caussols and Menton complete our playground in the department. Looking for something to do in the Alpes-Maritimes? Paragliding is the department's must-do experience. We also offer canyoning trips in the region's most beautiful canyons, from the Var to the Bouches-du-Rhône.

First flights: from age 4 (Child Flight package). Training courses: from age 12. No maximum age if physical condition permits. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
The Alpes-Maritimes offer more than 250 days of flying per year. Spring (March-June): ideal conditions, regular thermals. Summer: early morning flights preferred. Autumn (Sept-Nov): stable conditions. Winter: sunny days.
For first flights: no physical condition required. For courses: ability to run a few metres on take-off. No previous sporting experience necessary. Paragliding is accessible to all.
Child baptism: 100€ (20-30 min). Baptism Sensations: 140€ (30-40 min). Prestige experience: 250€ (40-60 min + video). All equipment provided.
Discovery course: 1 day (€200). Introductory course: 5 days (€700). Advanced course: 5 days (750€). Full pilot licence training: 10-15 days spread over several months.
Yes, all the equipment is provided: approved canopies (Alpha 7, Mentor, Sigma), harnesses with reserve parachute, helmets, radio. The equipment is serviced annually by our partner Aerotech. All you need to bring is closed-toe shoes and a jacket.
Yes, the Mediterranean climate means you can fly all year round. Over 250 flying days a year. Optimum conditions in spring and autumn. Summer: early morning flights. In winter, ideal sunny days.
Free rescheduling to a date of your choice. No charge. Confirmation or rescheduling by SMS the day before. In the Alpes-Maritimes, more than 250 days can be flown each year, so it's easy to reschedule. Non-flyable conditions: too strong a wind, thunderstorm, rain.
Yes, extremely safe. State-qualified instructors (DEJEPS), approved equipment serviced annually, reserve parachute, daily weather analysis, professional liability insurance. Over 1000 first flights a year without incident.
Yes, video option available: €30 (included in Baptême Prestige). Filmed by the instructor using a GoPro HD. Moments captured: take-off, panoramic views of the Alpes-Maritimes, landing. HD file transferred to your phone.
For a first flight: you carry nothing, everything is managed by the instructor. For a course: glider 4-6kg, harness 5-7kg. Total 10-13kg depending on equipment.

We do not offer accommodation directly, but recommend: gîtes in Gréolières and surrounding villages, hotels in Grasse/Vence (nearby), campsites in the Pre-Alps. List provided on booking.
Yes, Ailéments offers canyoning trips throughout the département. From Nice, Cannes or Menton, All our canyons are accessible in less than an hour: Gorges du Loup, Bès-Courmes, Gour du Ray, Aiglun... Each route offers a unique adventure with waterfalls, natural slides and jumps. Paragliding and canyoning can be combined on the same day.
