Our instructors are big fans of the snow and can't wait for winter to arrive to take you flying on skis. As soon as the first snow falls on the Mediterranean foothills, the Cheiron mountain dons its beautiful white coat, and the ski area and lifts are ready to open. With its north-facing aspect and night-time temperatures, the Mediterranean climate means there's always plenty of snow for you to enjoy. The leading family resort in the French RivieraGeôlières les Neiges boasts around thirty kilometres of easily accessible runs, a snow garden for children and plenty of restaurants for a great day out with the whole family. Skiing isn't the only activity in the resort, and there are plenty of snowshoeing routes every weekend, with many families coming from Nice, Fat or Cannes to picnic and go tobogganing with their children.
Christenings in paragliding Skiing is also one of the activities on offer in the resort, with Ailéments taking you over the snow-covered slopes and onto the snow front.

We had our first paragliding experience with my friend and it was just great! Pierrot was a great teacher from start to finish, explaining all the operations and manoeuvres during the flight.
As when you go skiing, your paragliding outfit in winter should include a fairly warm jacket (even if your instructor suggests a down jacket), ski trousers and a good pair of walking boots if you don't ski. If you're in the resort to ski, then take your skis and a pair of ski boots. You don't need your poles and don't forget your gloves and sunglasses or ski mask. You'll need a ski pass to take your pilot up to the take-off point.

It couldn't be easier! If you want to fly with your feet in the snow and enjoy a moment of contemplation or adrenalin, just contact us or book online. This flight is accessible from the age of 10 with skis, the important thing is to be on your feet at take-off and to let yourself slide, skis parallel to acquire a little speed necessary for take-off. Landing is very easy, just let yourself glide upright on the skis. The flight on skis is fairly short but intense in emotion and contemplation, so we invite you to try the experience and get a bit of height above the snow-covered resort.
