A first paragliding experience (also known as a tandem flight) is your first experience of free flight.
Comfortably installed in a harness facing the landscape, you take off in tandem with a state-qualified instructor who takes care of everything: take-off, piloting and landing. All you have to do is enjoy!
At Ailéments, your baptism will take place from the Gréolières site, at 1400 metres above sea level on the Cheiron mountain.
Take-off is a gentle affair: a few steps into the wind and you're in the air, flying over the Côte d'Azur between the Mediterranean Sea and the peaks of the Mercantour.
No skills required You don't have to be athletic or afraid of heights.
Your instructor will adapt the flight to your wishes: Contemplative to enjoy the scenery, or thrilling if you're an adrenaline junkie!

The day before the flight : You will receive a Confirmation SMS with the GPS location of the meeting point and the exact time depending on the weather
D-Day:

The weather, our priority: We check the weather every day at 8pm.
If the conditions are not optimal (wind too strong, rain, storm), we will postpone your flight free of charge.

At Ailéments, we fly from the Gréolières, at only 45 minutes from Nice (35 min from Grasse, 45 min from Cannes).
Situated at an altitude of 1400m on the Cheiron mountain, this is one of the most beautiful paragliding sites in the Alpes-Maritimes. You'll fly over the Côte d'Azur with a panoramic view from Monaco to Cannes!
Our first paragliding flights start at 100€ for a children's flight (4-6 years, 10-15 min).
Le Upward flight at €140 is our best-selling formula with 20-30 min of flight time and the chance to fly. For the ultimate experience, the prestige flight at €250 offers 45 minutes to 1 hour of flight, including acrobatics and HD video.
Video option at extra cost (€30) for other packages.
It's so simple!
The day before, you'll receive an SMS with the GPS point and time. D-Day: meet at the Gréolières car park (45 minutes from Nice), get in the 4×4, have a 10-minute safety briefing, get kitted out, then take off in a few short steps.
During the flight, you enjoy the scenery (or ask for the sensations!). Soft landing in the valley.
Visit about 2 hours on site in total.
Almost everyone! Baptism is accessible from 4 years (children's flight in the morning). For adults, no age limit as long as you can run a few metres on take-off.
Maximum weight: 90 kg.
You don't need to be sporty: a normal physical condition is all you need.
And the good news is that vertigo isn't a problem - you don't feel the void when you're paragliding!
The only contraindications are serious heart problems or pregnancy.

Make sure you wear comfortable clothing: long trousers (jeans or jogging pants), trainers or closed hiking boots (no sandals!), and a windbreaker or fleece even in summer, as it gets cooler at altitudes of 1800m.
In winter, add gloves and a hat.
Helmet and harness are provided by us. Avoid skirts, dresses and shoes with heels!
At Gréolières, we fly all year round thanks to the Mediterranean climate, except from January to mid-February.
La high season (March to November) offers the best thermal conditions and longer flights.
In summer, opt for morning slots to avoid the turbulence of the afternoon.
In winter, flights are shorter but the snow-covered landscapes are magical.
We always adjust the timetable according to the day's weather.
