The Ailéments teaching method, courses combining analysis, sensations and individualisation

Educational tandem paragliding

Our team is firmly convinced that learning any discipline requires individualisation. In fact, it's important to be able to observe, question and propose an appropriate solution for each student. There are so many factors that can lead to an action that is not necessarily useful or even counter-productive when performing a technical move in paragliding or canyoning. We all have our own personalities, our own feelings and therefore our own movements, which are adapted to the disciplines we practise. For example, a climber will tend to grip and pull everything he grabs, whereas a dancer will tend to move more gently and lightly. That's not to say that one is better than the other, it's just that we need to take these movements into account so that we can be as relevant as possible when learning them.

The pleasure of learning nature sports in the Alpes-Maritimes

Based in Gréolieres, Ailéments is at the heart of the practice sites for canyoning, climbing, mountain biking and paragliding. We are strategically placed to be as relevant as possible in our analysis and knowledge of the environment and conditions. With a Mediterranean climate, we can offer you flights all year round in paragliding, but also courses to discover the activity or improve your progress. Whether it's canyoning or paragliding We attach particular importance to learning through play. Learning through play is a very good way of seeking out sensations and acquiring motor reflexes.

Learning in the field but not just !!!! A subtle blend for better practice

In many outdoor sports, the mental and emotional aspects are essential elements to be analysed for more sustainable practice. So we think it's a good idea to introduce tools to help you make progress in these areas. This involves observing your physical and mental state, as well as gaining a better understanding of the environment (morphology of the terrain, aerology, water movements, etc.) and increasing your technical knowledge of the activity (flight mechanics, rope techniques, equipment knowledge, etc.). Having taken all these factors into account, we also feel it's very important to listen to ourselves and remain humble in the face of the elements. The notion of margin and acceptance of not taking off or not entering the canyon is very important.
