A great canyoning experience with Pierrot! There were 6 of us aged between 6 and 54 . Pierrot is very nice and it goes very well with children! Thank you
The canyon du loup is located in the Préalpes d'Azur Regional Nature Park, in the gorges du Loup not far from the Pays Niçois, a veritable mineral jewel. It's a swashbuckling between two limestone plateaux, the result of a long process of derision by the coastal river Loup, which flows into the Mediterranean at Villeneuve Loubet and Cagnes sur mer.
It is a canyon It's one of the most accessible on the Cote d'Azur (less than 1 hour from all the major towns: Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Grasse, Antibes...), and its fun, aquatic atmosphere gives it an Aqualand feel! Its technical level is very accessible.
This white-water course, similar to an aquatic hike, can be adapted to suit everyone's level and preferences, the advantage being that you can easily walk around the obstacles and continue the canyon. The final section is the highlight of the show; more athletic, it will delight the most intrepid adrenalin-seekers.
Our canyons of the 06 are all as playful and magnificent as each other. In the Vallée du Loup, our team's base camp, you'll find a multitude of walks along the riverside path for the whole family to enjoy. Bring your own picnic and you're sure to have a great day out in nature in the heart of the Pre-Alps d'Azur Regional Nature Park. Ailéments also offers you the chance to venture off the beaten track and equip yourself for a canyoning trip in the gorges. We have several courses adapted to everyone's level, whether you want to jump, swim or abseil, there's something for everyone.... Don't wait any longer and come and experience nature's adventure with Ailéments.
The Canyon du Loup is less than 1 hour from all the towns in the region. Côte d'AzurMonaco, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Grasse, Mandelieu...
Its geographical location close to major motorways means that it is within easy reach of major cities such as Marseille, Aix-en-Provence (2 hours), Toulon (1 hour 45 minutes), Frejus, Saint Raphael and the Mediterranean. Var (1h30). The Gorges du Verdon and Castellane are 1h15 away.
Here is some information to help you find the meeting point with your canyoning guide: leaving from the coastal towns or the main motorways, head for the village of Pont du Loup, then take the D6 towards Gréolières; you will then climb the Gorges du Loup for around 2km and pass through a large illuminated tunnel: the car park is on the left as you exit this tunnel.
Arriving from the Gorges du Verdon and Castellane: head towards Gréolières then take the route des Gorges du Loup D3 direction Nice- Grasse, Pont du loup; follow the road for 3km, you will pass the Saut du Loup (waterfall and restaurant) on your left then under two short tunnels and finally you will see the Courmes waterfall on your left, 400m further at the entrance to a large tunnel on the right the car park is your meeting point.

Incredible experience. Simple, approachable instructors in a great atmosphere and, above all, a feeling of confidence. Idyllic setting. I would recommend .
A wonderful experience with Tom at the clue d'Aiglun.
Tom is really great.
We recommend it!
This canyon is the ideal product to delight young and old, cautious or intrepid, thanks to the wealth and multitude of obstacles that make it a real Aqualand-style water park. The canyon's open, green morphology makes it possible to offer an à la carte activity, a veritable all-you-can-eat buffet of jumps and slides.
Because it's an à la carte canyon, 100% fun and very accessible because no obstacle is compulsory. The whole family will feel at ease and will be able to choose, according to their desires and feelings, to do and redo a multitude of varied obstacles: jumps, slides (sitting, lying down, head first, etc.). In short, a canyon that combines discovery and sport.
This canyon is a good choice for confronting your fears while having a good time. The 10m abseils and big jumps can be bypassed if you feel too dizzy. Few canyons offer this escape route.
Great experience with Facilities for canyoning in the Alpes maritimes. I found the Ailements telephone number on the internet; I left a message and the guide called me back a few minutes later. We had an appointment with my cousin and I two days later for the Loup canyon. The guide on the phone advised us to do the Loup canyon as it was great fun; lots of jumps and slides but nothing was compulsory; there are always ways out. So, on the day we had an appointment in the Gorges du Loup at 9am with our guide, Tom, who was already there. There were other clients with us; there were 8 of us in total. A family with two children and a couple our own age. We were each equipped with a wetsuit in our size, a helmet, a harness and socks; very useful because the water wasn't warm in the morning.
We started the canyon with a rope descent through a succession of pools: so good, it puts you straight in the mood! Then we joined the river and found ourselves doing a series of jumps and slides; the canyon du Loup is just magnificent; there are some beautiful pools and waterfalls; you can see the water that has sculpted the rock; we couldn't get any good photos with our waterproof camera. Despite the slightly chilly water, we didn't notice the passage of time; great atmosphere; the guide made us feel at ease. My best memory is the 10 metre jump at the end - I never thought I'd be able to do it! It felt so good. Thanks Ailements! We'll be in touch for a day trip 🙂
